Sacred Mountain Retreat has 3 individual cottages, uniquely designed and positioned. Each cottage enjoys spectacular views, taking in a huge expanse of ocean, miles of coastline and the most easterly mountains of The Great Dividing Range.
You will enjoy a position set high above surrounding coastal towns, a 270 degree vista, awesome sunrises and a night sky that cannot be described.
The cottages have been named to identify them individually, but their names fall short of fully describing their unique settings and amazing views. Each cottage is privately positioned, set amidst beautiful gardens, surrounded by natural bush with a breathtaking ocean backdrop.
Breakfast supplies are provided for your 1st morning and pastries and newspapers are delivered daily to your own private cottage. Fresh garden produce is available to those who wish to self cater, and tropical fruits are grown here organically.

The ‘OceanView’ cottage is situated at the highest point on the property and enjoys views in a 270 degree panorama. Ideally suited to couples, the ‘OceanView’ cottage has 1 very large bedroom with an extra deep in-room bath and a separate bathroom and shower.
The ‘OceanView is spacious and perfect for a couple but can accommodate up to 6 guests.
Uniquely appointed, ‘OceanView’ is self contained and equipped with TV, DVD, and CD player as well as supplies of quality teas and ground coffee.
The décor is stylish, fresh and bright. A modern kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, microwave oven, gas stovetop, modern appliances and all crockery, cutlery and utensils.
Extensive private decks and outdoor living spaces offer you guaranteed unbelievable views of the coast north and south. Large sliding doors open from the living room and bedroom onto long verandas and you can view our local beaches and check the surf from your breakfast table or watch the whales on their migration.
The Studio:
‘OceanView’ cottage has a detached studio which was purpose built for older children or extra guests requiring a separate 2nd bedroom.
The studio is 15 meters from the main cottage and has its own kitchenette, fridge, TV, DVD and a lovely outdoor area with more views to the mountains and coast.

SeaScape has 1 large bedroom, with sliding glass doors that open onto your private deck. Large and spacious accommodation for a couple, SeaScape can accommodate up to 5 guests.
The large private bathroom with a large separate shower and extra deep bath, and cool tiles under foot looks out into a natural bush setting with the coastline as a backdrop.
The décor throughout the cottage is rich and stylish with vibrant colours and an earthy comfortable feel.
A modern kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, gas stovetop, microwave oven and appliances as well as cutlery and crockery. There is a dining setting for 4 and an outdoor setting and sun lounge. A large sofa in the lounge also converts to a queen size bed for extra guests.
‘SeaScape’ includes all the comforts you could need TV, DVD, CD player, a selection of movies and music.
There are large windows north, south and east so every room enjoys ocean and mountain scenery. French doors open off the living area and bedroom onto shaded decks where you are high up amongst the gum trees, overlooking the beautiful coastline and natural bush for miles.
Set in native gardens among the grey gums and architecturally designed to blend with the environment, ‘SeaScape’ is private and you are as close as you can get to nature!

Panorama cottage is a split level structure perched on a rocky ridge. The ‘Panorama’ has 1 large bedroom and is perfect for a couple but can accommodate up to 5.A boardwalk winds around a rocky outcrop to access the cottage. Sliding doors from the bedroom access a private deck which is nestled into a gorgeous rock garden.
The bathroom is bright and spacious, fitted with a deep bath and separate shower. Views from the bathroom take in the coastline to the south over the tree tops.
On the lower level there is a modern kitchen equipped with a large fridge, gas stovetop, microwave oven, appliances and utensils.
The living room has a queen size sofa bed for an extra couple.
Plenty of comforts are at hand, wide screen TV, DVD, CD player, a selection of movies and music.
There are large sliding doors on two sides of the living room which access the verandas and take in stunning coastal views.
From the ‘Panorama’ there are views as the name suggests. Every room, every window, every direction.
